| | New Series Posted: 9/14/2009 This weekend we will be kicking off a new series of studies at CCk. We are going to be looking at the life of King David who in my opinion is one of the greatest bible characters that ever lived. There are so many rich and life-changing lessons for all of us to learn. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to invite friends and family to come to church. I am looking forward to all that Jesus is going to do in our lives as we soak in the lessons and insights from this great life. Look forward to seeing you all there! And if you can't join us in person, you can catch the livestream on the CCk Website by clicking here during the Central Campus service times.

| | Pursuit: A Study Through Jonah Posted: 8/6/2009 This weekend we kick off a new series of studies in the Book of Jonah here at CCk. I am looking forward to all that God is going to do in our lives through these studies. For you see, there are many themes in the book of Jonah that will teach us, encourage us, and equip us to be the people that God has made us to be. We will get challenged and stretched all for the purpose of transforming and conforming into His image. My prayer is that God would do a great work in our lives personally and in our church corporately. I look forward to seeing you there! And don't forget to bring a friend!

| | Weekend Stuff Posted: 6/26/2009 Hey Everyone! I pray this post finds you blessed and at rest in the Promises of Jesus. I just wanted to let you in on what is happening this weekend at CCk. I will be teaching on a subject that all of us deal with. It is one of those Giants that all of us face in life. This weekend we will be looking at the subject of Worry. This is something that all of us have a tendency to engage in. All of us at some point or another find ourselves worrying in life. Especially in the day and age that we live in. No doubt, we are living in some troubling times. There are all kinds of things that have the potential of keeping us up at night. Well, this weekend, we will look at how to deal with it. I look forward to seeing you all at church. And as I always remind you, don't forget to bring a friend. All of us know people that need the Lord. All of us know people that are asking Life's questions. And I believe that God wants to use you in their lives to lead them to the Answer! May God Bless your efforts today as you seek to Impact your World for His Glory and for His Namesake!

| | Weekend Recap Posted: 6/9/2009 Hey everyone! I pray all of you find yourselves blessed and at rest in the promises of God. I am in Southern California for our annual Calvary Chapel Senior Pastor's Conference in Murrietta. This year I came out early to speak at the Calvary Chapel Chino Valley Men's Conference. What a wonderful time it was. To hear men like, Pastor Chuck Smith, Pastor David Rosales, Pastor Raul Ries, Pastor Ken Graves, General Boytkin, and Victor Marx was truly a blessing. I was the only liability on the schedule ;) And then on Sunday I had the opportunity to speak at all the morning services at CCCV. Great church led by a great pastor. It was cool to see what the Lord is doing in that church. Thank you CCCV for such a great time!
I also had the opportunity to hang out with Greg and Cathe Laurie for a few days. I love them so much. I am looking forward to coming back out for this year's Harvest Crusade in Anaheim. It is the 20th Year Anniversary. It is going to Rock! And then yesterday, I connected with Don and Jean McClure. It was great hanging out with them as well. We all went to catch a movie and had dinner. We are looking forward to have Don and Jean with us at CCk in October. Can't wait. But anyways, I am off to the conference. See you all this Weekend as we continue our Elements Series!

| | New Series Posted: 4/29/2009 I pray that this note finds you blessed and at rest in the promises of Jesus. I wanted to take the time to invite you out to CCk for our current weekend studies. We just wrapped up the book of James, are currently going through a five week series that I have entitled Elements and then will start the Life of David in 1 and 2 Samuel. I decided to do a short series on the core elements of the Christian faith and consequently the core elements that are necessary if we are going to experience the life that we have been designed to live. Week 1, we looked at Worship. Week 2, we studied the importance of God's word. And next week we will look at.... Well, you'll have to attend one of our weekend services to find out. I am looking forward to what God is going to do in our lives as we go through these studies.
Currently, Lourdes and I are in the West Coast of Florida for a few days. We rode our motorcycle across the Everglades on US 41. It was a beautiful ride. We are looking forward to some time of just hanging out, reading the bible, walking on the beach, worshipping the Lord and thanking Him for His goodness. Love you guys. And I look forward to seeing you this weekend at church. I challenge you to invite someone to come. We are seeing God move mightily in drawing people into a relationship with Him! All by His grace!

| | Back Home Posted: 3/24/2009 This past week, I was in Montevideo, Uruguay with the Franklin Graham Festival team. It was amazing to watch God move in a country where there is a low percentage of Christians. It was one of the largest Christian events that the country had ever seen. It was awesome to see so many come to know the Lord.
Also, while in Montevideo, we had a chance to be a part of an Operation Christmas Child distribution. This is something that I never get tired of. I have been to many of these and I am moved every single time. Can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do this year through this outreach.
I was also stoked to hear that back at the ranch that Bob Shank did an amazing job. I had breakfast with him on Monday morning. I love that guy! I am sure glad that he serves on the board of directors of CCk. The Lord has truly blessed us with some really gifted people. I look forward to be back in the pulpit this weekend. We will be wrapping up the book of James. I look forward to seeing you all there!

| | CCk:WestCampus Posted: 3/23/2009 This weekend was amazing at CCk. It was the beginning of a new season. Quite honestly, I didn't know what to expect this first week with the new service times and the new location. I thought for sure, at least one service would be a ghost town. Let me just say, the Lord proved me wrong. The services were all very well attended! We saw many make commitments to follow Christ at all the services. It definitely exceeded my expectation. The service at the CCk West Campus went amazing! It was a tremendous blessing to have the Rev. John Ferguson, whom the school is named after be there with us and close the service in prayer. He is 86 years old and has been serving the Lord for longer than I have been alive. It was awesome to hear the words he shared. All in all, it was a great day. The Lord has definitely blessed CCk with a great team of volunteers. I want to thank each one of them for their passion in serving the Lord. I thank the Lord for what He has done, but I look with Great Anticipation at what He is yet to do! See you on Wednesday!

| | Samaritan's Purse in the Dominican Republic Posted: 3/4/2009 Hope all of you are great! This past Monday, I got on a plane for a weeklong trip at the Dominican Republic. I am here with Samaritan's Purse and the National Operation Christmas Child Leadership Team.
I have had the privilege of leading the Team Devotions in the morning and then the even greater privilege of heading out and handing out Shoeboxes. By the time, we are done, we would have handed out 8k shoeboxes to kids in Santo Domingo.
It has been amazing. I never get tired of watching these kids receive these gifts. Many of them give their lives to the Lord. And many of them go through a discipleship program that further teaches them how to walk with God. OCC truly is an amazing opportunity to reach kids throughout the world. It is my privilege to be able to be a part of it. And the OCC team are completely crazy for the Lord. They are as passionate of a group that I have ever been around.
It is exciting to see what the Lord is going to do in the upcoming years through this world impacting ministry.
